A Senior Account Executive at Marketer

A glimpse into the daily life of a Senior Account Executive
What is it like to be in charge of a client portfolio at Marketer? We have spoken to Kaisa Eidet to get more insight into what she does on a daily basis. She started at Marketer in 2020 as a Sales Executive and with her extensive skills and ambitious mindset she quickly qualified for enhanced responsibilities, and she is now one of our Senior Account Executives. At the office, Kaisa spreads a lot of joy and enthusiasm which is highly appreciated by both colleagues and clients.
What are your daily tasks?
My daily tasks first and foremost revolve around ensuring the clients in my portfolio are looked after and getting the maximum amount of value from our platform. This could be informing our clients about changes in the industry, presenting new functionalities that can solve a problem of theirs or simply checking in. I also work with the Sales Executives to assist with new potential clients which include presenting demos, sparring on how to best solve the client’s issues, as well as bringing together offers. Additionally, I find it important to stay up to date on news and trends within both real estate and digital marketing.
What is the best part of your role?
I really enjoy meeting lots of new people, building relationships as well as problem-solving. Ideally, doing all of those at the same time.
What challenges do you encounter?
As anyone in a fast-growing company can relate to, it gets busy. Juggling various tasks, accounts and deliverables plus prioritising correctly can get challenging, but luckily, I prefer a fast-paced environment and find that the challenges are what makes me thrive and grow.
How important is it for you to work closely with other in-house teams?
Crucial. Teamwork is key for us to be able to deliver great results for our clients. I am surrounded by talented designers, developers, customer success managers, and data scientists (the list goes on) that all play an important role in the results of both me, my team, and for Marketer overall.
